Andre J. Carrier is President and Chief Operating Officer of Eureka Casinos, a company that operates casinos in Las Vegas and Mesquite, Nevada. Andre maintains a balanced combination of executive leadership, classical hotelier discipline and advanced analytical and financial understanding to successfully manage complex hotel-casino, food and beverage operations.
Carrier graduated from Cornell University in 1992, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration.
He began his career at Sahara Resorts/Santa Fe Gaming, the parent company that owned the Sahara Hotel Casino, the Hacienda Hotel and Casino, the Sante Fe Casino and the Pioneer Hotel and Casino, where he held positions including Vice President of Marketing and Vice President Administration and Development. In 1999, Steve Wynn recognized his talents and enlisted him to lead Golden Nugget Laughlin, as Chief Operating Officer.
In September 2005, Carrier became Chief Operating Officer of the Golden Nugget Las Vegas and Golden Nugget Laughlin. He remained with the Golden Nugget until 2007, when he joined long time friend, Greg Lee, to assist in the operation and future development of Eureka Casinos and Resorts.
Carrier is as passionate about serving his community as he is about serving his employees. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club, the Cornell Society of Hotelmen Nevada, Mesquite Resort Association and the Mohave County Airport Authority.
In October 2008, he started the “Christmas Can Cure” Program for the Wounded Warrior Project. This program brought injured veterans and their families to his family home in Jackson, New Hampshire, where he assembled the entire town to bring these service men and their families together for a perfect family Christmas. This program expanded in 2009, bring families to Park City, Utah.
