Job Summary - Oversee Player/Dealer activity in the Pit. Deal table games.
Duties & Responsibilities - Provide quality customer service to guests. Protect game by monitoring player/dealer activity. Ensure departmental compliance to Nevada Gaming Regulations; Safeguard assets of Pit; ensure tables have sufficient funds and other supplies. Make fills, credits, etc. Resolve customer complaints. Communicate status of Pit effectively to Floor Supervisor or Pit shift Manager. Deal table games following company, department and Nevada Gaming regulations. Count fills and credits. Count Chips. Keep trays orderly. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Knowledge of dealing all table games; knowledge of Nevada Gaming Regulations; requires frequent walking, standing, and bending; requires the ability to make decisions in stressful and diverse situations; requires motivation and initiative to meet the expectations of self and upper management; requires a professional appearance, attitude and demeanor; requires the ability to work extended hours when necessary; requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with casino patrons and personnel; requires the ability to distinguish numbers, letters and symbols; requires normal vision and hearing range; requires the use of computers and calculators; requires dependable attendance; must have 2+ years of dealing or Pit floor experience; requires the ability to lead and manage others; requires the ability to interact effectively with co-workers; the ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; the ability to accept constructive criticism; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; requires the ability to follow directions.
