Job Summary-Assists with all Human Resources related duties.
Duties & Responsibilities-Ensures that all employee and management requests are completed in a timely manner. Completes new hire processing. Maintains records and personnel files. Assembles new hire and employee benefit packets. Maintains company forms. Greets and assists fellow employees, applicants and other visitors. Answers telephone. Ensures that all employees and visitors are receiving quality service from the Human Resources office. Schedules appointments. Maintains, tracks and assigns employee uniforms and other office supplies. Communicates with management in all departments. Informs of and explains company policies. Maintain a neat and welcoming work area. Prepares, posts and tracks job opportunities. Review and input personnel changes. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities-Minimum of 1 year prior office experience; prior Human Resources experience preferred; must be computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and Outlook; must be able to maintain confidentiality; requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful situations; must be detail oriented and multi-task capable; requires professional, positive attitude and friendly demeanor; requires frequent sitting, twisting, reaching and bending; requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds; requires neat, well groomed appearance; requires the ability to follow directions from a supervisor; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; requires the ability to follow directions; requires the ability to interact effectively with co-workers; requires the ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; requires the ability to accept constructive criticism.
