Job Summary - Assists quests when registering them into the hotel and settling account upon check out. Works closely with related departments to ensure excellent guest service.
Duties & Responsibilities - Acknowledge and greet customers who approach the front desk or hotel lobby; give clear directions to guests; complete required paperwork for various front desk transactions and input information in the computer; process cash transactions and input information in the computer; process credit card transactions; check guest in and out of hotel; follow departmental policies and procedures; conduct telephone transactions; record and input wake up call requests.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Must be able to type 25 wpm; must be able to multi-task; must be able to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to all guests; teamwork required; professional, well groomed appearance required; excellent written and oral skills required; six months previous cash handling experience preferred; requires prolonged standing and movement; requires frequent bending and stooping; requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds; requires the ability to follow directions from a supervisor; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; requires the ability to follow directions; requires the ability to interact effectively with co-workers; requires the ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; requires the ability to accept constructive criticism.
