Job Summary - Responsible for providing restaurant customers with accurate, prompt and courteous food and beverage service.
Duties & Responsibilities - Greet and introduce self to seated customers; explain daily specials and other menu items; take customer orders for food and beverage and repeat order back for accuracy; place orders with cooks, noting any special preparation requirements; serve all food and beverage in proper sequence; monitor all tables in work station; complete and distribute customer food and beverage bill according to departmental policy; perform necessary side work; other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching; requires prolonged standing; requires carrying food trays weighing up to 30 pounds; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; requires eye-hand coordination; requires the ability to communicate in English; must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, and pleasant demeanor; requires the ability to follow directions from a supervisor; requires the ability to follow directions; requires the ability to interact effectively with co-workers; requires the ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; requires the ability to accept constructive criticism.
