Job Summary - Responsible for the overall cleanliness and neat appearance of the Hotel, linen rooms and surrounding areas.
Duties & Responsibilities - Sweeps, mops and cleans stairwells, elevators and linen rooms; keeps pool area clean and clear of trash and debris; cleans and mops public rest rooms; vacuums and shampoos carpets; refills chemical bottles; keeps hallways, stairwells, parking lot, and sidewalks clean; empties trash off the GRA's carts; assists guest with luggage; cleans vending areas; cleans and mops linen rooms; checks and stocks linen rooms; cleans doors, windows, and glass in common lobby areas; empties trash containers; replaces used towels and linen; other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Requires good physical stamina: frequent walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting; requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; requires paying attention to detail and thoroughness; requires good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity; requires normal range of vision and hearing; requires the use of mops, brooms, dust pans, and vacuums; requires the safe use of chemical cleaning agents; requires the ability to work with minimal supervision; requires the ability to follow directions from a supervisor; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; requires the ability to follow directions; requires the ability to interact effectively with co-workers; requires the ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; requires the ability to accept constructive criticism.
