Required Certification/Licenses: Nevada Gaming Registration, T.A.M. Card, Drivers License, AED/CPR and First Aid Certifications

Job Summary - Responsible for ensuring the safety of all company employees, guests and company assets.

Duties & Responsibilities - Handle, count, verify gaming chips in multiple denominations. Escort Eureka employees to protect company assets; conduct property inspections tours; prepare incident reports; push heavy carts during drops; report all violations of gaming regulations, internal controls and all company and department policies and procedures; develop a working knowledge of Nevada Revised Statues and those pertaining to Citizens Arrest. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Casino security experience preferred, although law enforcement and military experience are considered; must be able to work all shifts and schedules; must have a working knowledge of Nevada Revised Statutes, and those pertaining to citizen’s arrest; requires ability to read, write and speak English; requires normal vision and hearing; must be able to communicate by e-mail, telephone, radio and written form; requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and lower weights frequently; requires frequent walking, standing or sitting for long periods; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; follow directions from a supervisor; interact effectively with co-workers; understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; accept constructive criticism; requires the ability to lead and manage others.
