Job Summary - Responsible for providing prompt and courteous beverage service to guests in the casino, restaurant, bar, and lounge areas.

Duties & Responsibilities - Greet customers; take beverage orders; place orders with bartender in proper sequence; garnish cocktails; serve beverages in timely, systematic fashion maintain cleanliness of work station; monitor work stations continually to assure customer satisfaction; monitor customer behavior for signs of possible intoxication; check customer ID when necessary; straighten tables, chairs and remove dirty glasses and ashtrays from work areas; handle room charges, house comps, tokens, coupons, and cash according to departmental policy and procedure; other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Extensive drink knowledge a must. Minimum of a years experience either bartending or cocktailing in a casino environment within the last two years; requires frequent walking, bending, reaching, and standing; requires the ability to lift and manipulate trays weighing up to 25 pounds through crowded areas; work environment includes consistently high noise levels, exposure to second hand cigarette smoke, perfume, and other scents, exposure to swearing, cussing and foul language; requires a professional appearance and a pleasant attitude; requires normal vision and hearing; requires the ability to maintain equilibrium; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; requires the ability to follow directions from a supervisor; requires the ability to interact effectively with co-workers; requires the ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; requires the ability to accept constructive criticism.
