Bryce Canyon National Park

Cathedral Gorge

Cedar Breaks National Monument

Cedar Breaks National Monument is nestled high in the Cedar Mountains between Cedar City and Panguitch. Sudden contrasting landscapes come together to make one of Southern Utah's finest touring attractions. Many visitors from around the world enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Cedar Breaks annually. Dixie National Forest

The Dixie National Forest, with headquarters in Cedar City, Utah occupies two million acres and stretches for about 170 miles across Southern Utah. The largest National Forest in Utah, it straddles the divide between the Great Basin and the Colorado River. Elevations vary from 2,800 feet near St. George, Utah to 11,322 feet at Blue Bell Knoll on Boulder Mountain. The southern rim of the Great Basin, near the Colorado River, provides spectacular scenery. Colorado River canyons are made up of many-colored cliffs and steep-walled gorges.

Gold Butte National Monument

Gold Butte National Monument covers nearly 300,000 acres of remote and rugged desert landscape in southeastern Nevada, where dramatically chiseled red sandstone, twisting canyons, and tree-clad mountains punctuate desolate stretches of the Mojave Desert. The brightly hued sandstone provides a stunning canvas for the area’s famously beautiful rock art, and the desert provides critical habitat. The area is popular for outdoor recreation, and visitors to the monument can hike to rock art sites, drive the Gold Butte Backcountry Byway to the area’s namesake mining ghost town, hunt desert bighorn sheep, or tour the area’s peaks and canyons on horseback.

Grand Canyon National Park - North Rim

Hoover Dam is a testimony to a country's ability to construct monolithic projects in the midst of adverse conditions. Built during the Depression; thousands of men and their families came to Black Canyon to tame the Colorado River. It took less than five years, in a harsh and barren land, to build the largest dam of its time. Now, years later, Hoover Dam still stands as a world-renowned structure. The Dam is a National Historic Landmark and has been rated by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of America's Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders. Tours inside and outside of dam available: Operating Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The Hoover Dam is 34 miles from Las Vegas and the visitor center is open every day of the year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The City of Mesquite's Recreation Center sports 2 full size gymnasiums, 2 racquetball courts, an indoor heated pool, showers/ lockers, fitness room, aerobics/dance room, meeting rooms, youth and adult gathering areas with pool tables, foosball and ping pong tables, climbing wall and outdoor basketball courts. During the summer, guests can enjoy the outdoor pool and its exciting water slide.

This facility has five full size soccer fields, all of which are lit and can be used for a variety of sports. Amenities include a concession stand, three pavilions, a playground, a small splash pad, a large vendor booth area with power and water to each site, and a large parking lot. Aside from hosting large scale events, including the ReMax Long Drive Championship each year, guests can participate in various activities including soccer and football games, archery events, golf club demo days, and various outdoor recreation!

Virgin River Gorge Recreation Area

The Virgin River Gorge, where the Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area resides, provides a stunning and colorful mountain desert setting. The gorge mimics, on a smaller scale, the colorful layers and striking depths of the Grand Canyon. In fact, many of the very same geologic formations are present in both areas. Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area is a first-come, first-served campground and day-use area located along I-15 approximately 20 miles southwest of St. George, Utah and 20 miles east of Mesquite, Nevada. Keep a lookout for Bighorn Sheep who live on the rocky crags above the gorge.
