  • The North Rim of the Grand Canyon

  • Valley of Fire State Park

Blessed by more than 300 days of sunshine each year, Mesquite's rugged desert setting offers boundless opportunities for golf, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, boating and more.

Water Sports & Fishing

If you love spending time on the water, Arizona’s Lake Mead and Lake Powell are perfect for water skiing, jet skiing, scuba diving, boating, and fishing. There are also several lakes in Utah that can be reached in an hour or two. Try Quail Creek and Gunlock State Park for fishing and water sports.

Hiking in the Canyons

Forty miles southwest of the hotel, you’ll find Valley of Fire State Park, where you can hike and enjoy the beauty of the red rock formations. A three-hour drive brings you to the Grand Canyon. North of Mesquite in Utah, you’ll find Bryce Canyon, where the intricate, weather-formed canyons will take your breath away. Marvel at the huge towering cliffs of Zion National Park or disappear into a secluded cave for a spelunking adventure.

Hoover Dam

Drive two hours to visit Hoover Dam, an amazing concrete structure and engineering marvel that supplies power throughout southern Nevada, Arizona and California.

Las Vegas

Head 80 miles south to experience the blazing neon and non-stop energy of Las Vegas, then escape the crowds and return to the Eureka for a relaxing desert escape.

Trek through the Nevada desert on an unforgettable safari atop of a majestic camel. Overlook the beautiful Virgin Mountains and Virgin River on your ride, led by an experienced Camel Safari handler. You will also get a tour of the farm and an opportunity to meet your camel before you embark.

Eureka’s 4th of July fireworks

Each year the Eureka Casino Resort hosts a concert with the Nevada Pops and then sets off fireworks from atop the mesa on property. It’s a display that combines great performers with great fireworks.
