Job Title - Massage Therapist

Reports to - Spa Coordnator

Minimum Age - 21 years old

Required Certification/Licenses - State of Nevada Massage Therapy License, CPR and First Aid Certified

Job Summary - Responsible for administering professional massage and body treatments to our guests.

Duties & Responsibilities - Must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, posses a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa’s specific massage and body treatment offerings;  must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests;  must hold and maintain a current state license; perform Massage, Body and Spa therapies for Guests in accordance with prescribed treatment protocols, accepted certification practices and company standards; effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns;  prompt with each appointment and arrive timely to clock in, check schedule, prepare equipment, linen and product and check in with supervisor; perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service, be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the company; proper setup of room and work areas in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures of the Eureka Casino and Hotel; be capable and comfortable to perform in-room massage and body treatments in a professional and comfortable manner; perform prep work; perform set-up and break-down procedures for in-room services in a quiet, efficient and timely manner and with all consideration for the comfort of the guest/s; properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls; uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and Standard Operating Procedures; attend all training for protocols, product, safety and company policy, as determined by management; actively promote the services, treatments and retail products as well as promotions and/or discounts available; handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously and respond to all requests by guests with accurate and immediate responses; provide follow up to ensure that all guest requirements have been met; Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention, possess the ability to work without direct supervision, maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment; regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the hotel; assist in all areas of spa service operation as requested by management; assist hotel as needed. This includes but is not limited to clerical and housekeeping; legibly complete requisitions for supplies/materials and submit to supervisor; make sure linen room, product area and equipment is cleaned, stocked and ready for next therapists, prior to end of shift;  other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Graduate and approved at least 800 hour course in Massage Therapy; preferred to have at least 2 years experience in similar position in Hospitality Industry; ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers and decimals; must have complete working knowledge of:  (1) Company Standard Operating Procedures,  (2) Proper draping techniques,  (3) Be familiar and educated on the OSHA's Blood borne Pathogen;  (4) Standards and follow all guidelines to ensure the safety of the guest and yourself;  (5) All Spa/Salon services and products; must have the ability or be willing to learn all Core Spa Treatments as determined by management; ability to apply Eureka Casino and Hotel Standards in working relationships; ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple situations with little supervision. ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form; must be able to lift and/or move at least eighty (80) pounds at a time; must have manual dexterity to operate Spa equipment and perform above listed job duties; must be able to perform various activities such as frequent walking, constant standing, bending, and occasional climbing, crawling and sitting; must be able to use computer and basic software related to treatment scheduling; must maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times. This includes cleanliness of uniforms, personal hygiene, a neatly groomed appearance, and professional demeanor; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; requires the ability to interact effectively with co-workers; requires the ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; requires the ability to accept constructive criticism.

Job Title - Model Par-Tee Pit Dealer-Tainer

Reports to - Table Games Shift Manager

Job Summary - Responsible for all aspects of dealing black jack. Deals, greets and solicits new casino customers while providing friendly, excellent service to every guest.

Duties & Responsibilities - Acknowledges, greets and converses in English with customers who approach the Table Games area. Engages in live dance entertainment to create an inviting, lively atmosphere to attract new customers, in accord with company marketing strategies. Appear in marketing, advertising and promotional material. Deals assigned games by delivering cards, determining winners and losers, and collecting and paying bets. Protects the integrity of games through observation and follows appropriate procedures. Reads, verifies and signs appropriate documents when necessary. Tracks multiple players’ level and duration of play. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Must possess an outgoing personality and attitude to help create a fun, enthusiastic environment for guests. Must be able to wear the prescribed uniform and be able to function in a loud, bright, flashy, flamboyant setting. Thorough knowledge and skills in all aspects of blackjack game. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills. Must be able read, write, speak clearly and understand English. One to two years’ experience in a position where the primary job duty is direct customer service preferred.  Requires the ability to distinguish numbers, letters and symbols; requires normal vision range and hearing; requires the ability to work in an environment with consistently high noise levels, exposure to second hand cigarette smoke, perfume, and other scents; requires the ability to lift 30 pounds; requires dependable attendance and the ability to appear for work on time; interact effectively with co-workers; understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; accept constructive criticism.
